In April 2013, my daughter's school organized a field trip to visit Saanen Dairy Goat Farm. The farm is located at Balik Pulau, Penang and it's open for public visit and anyone who is interested to buy fresh dairy goat products.
During the visit, kids have chance to see baby and adult goats, they also allowed to feed them with milk and leaves. Next, the owner showed them the process of expressing goat's milk. Lastly, it's goat milk and yogurt tasting time.
Appointment is required prior to you visit (min: 20 pax and max: 200 pax). They are charging for the following activities, such as:
1. Feeding goats with milk and leaves.
2. Leaf Folding (Grasshopper, dragonfly, fish, etc.)
3. Soap Making
4. One day camp
