The "Penang Space Festival with NASA 2012" will be the first event organized by USM involving a team of scientists from NASA. This event will definitely inspire Malaysians of all age groups to learn and experience the latest discoveries and development in space science and astronomy. There will be lots activities, including exhibitions, workshops, talks, planetarium showcase.

What's up Halloween?

October is the month for Halloween, we all know that typical Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.

If your kid still doesn't know about this festival, bring him/her to one of the following events!

7. Halloween Family Disco 

    Venue: G Hotel - G Spot (1st Floor)
    Date  : 2 November 2012 (Friday)
    Time  : 6.30pm to 8.30pm

   This one is aimed at families with children - a chance to dress up in your Halloween outfit, party and still be in bed by 10pm!  DJ Johnny will be playing the music, we'll have a haunted corner, tricks and treats. Price includes spooky pizzas, mini-burgers, bat's wings (just joking - they taste like chicken), cobweb cup-cakes, ice-cream & free flow soft drinks/fruit juice. 

RM60 per adult, RM30 per child 5-12 years old, FOC for under 4 
For adults, beer and wine will be at Happy Hour prices - buy one/free one.
Dress code - Halloween outfits are welcome but not essential!
